GRETA FERKET

More than 25 years of experience in many African countries, such as Tanzania Uganda, South Africa, Namibia, Zimbabwe, Botswana. Greta grew up in Belgium, near to the city of Antwerp, the second largest port in Europe after Rotterdam. 1998 was the first time she went to South Africa and at the same time it was her first introduction to the African continent. She immediately lost her heart to Africa and its wonderful people. Her passion an enthusiasm were unstoppable. Zimbabwe, and especially Victoria Falls, known for its impressive and world-famous waterfalls, became a “second home”. Through a friend-guide Tanzania caught her attention. Many documentaries about the “Big Migration” aroused her interest in this breathtaking phenomenon. She wanted to experience this spectacle at least once in her life… This is how this amazing and beautiful country with its world-famous National Parks, such as Serengeti, Lake Manyara and of course the Ngorongoro Crater became number 1 on her travel list. Her love for Africa and its inhabitants was and is so great, that the urge to do something with it, became an important goal. The forced end of her career at a publishing company finally paved the way for her. Her “African dream” began to take shape…. In the meantime, she has organized and guided several trips for friends, family and clients through Tanzania, Uganda, South Africa, Namibia, Botswana and Zimbabwe. She’s only too happy to share her love for all these countries, but especially for Tanzania, with you!
